Additive for construction mortars KRATAMIX provides high connectivity, resistance to delamination and water separation, and retainability of mobility of construction and masonry solutions.

According to the consumer properties, the additive KRATAMIX complies with the requirements of GOST 24211, EN934-2 for plasticizing, air-entraining, stabilizing additives. The additive consists of plasticizing components, a complex of surface-active substances of high quality.

KRATAMIX is used for building mortars in the laying of ceramic, silicate bricks, concrete blocks; in the production of plaster solutions. It is possible to use additives in the manufacture of products and structures of light and cellular concrete.

  • Stable plasticizing effect when working on various materials (increasing the mobility of the solution from Pk1 to PkZ-Pk4).
  • Increase of the retainability of mobility of solution mixtures (more than 3 hours).
  • Absence of water separation, delamination of solution mixtures at optimal dosages.
  • Reduced labor costs when working with masonry mortar (convenience and ease of masonry work).
  • Air-entraining allows to increase frost resistance and durability of mortar mixtures.
  • High air-entraining effect (more than 10% by volume) allows to increase the volume of the mortar mixture and thus to save materials.
  • Does not cause corrosion of the reinforcement.
  • Does not cause vapidity on the surface of the masonry.

Recommendations for use

KRATAMIX is introduced into the solution mixture together with the mixing water, preferably with the last third of the mixing water. Do not add to the dry mix. After adding the additive to the mortar, it is necessary to ensure sufficient mixing time for a uniform distribution of the additive in the concrete mix.

The recommended dosage of the additive is 0.2-1.2% of the final product with respect to the weight of the binders. The dosage of the additive depends on the chemical and mineralogical composition of the cement used, the characteristics of the aggregates, the purpose of the mortar mixture (including the required period of preservation of mobility), the mixing parameters of the mortar mixture. The optimum dosage of the additive is established during laboratory selection. At the same time, the composition of the solution is selected in accordance with GOST 27006 by any method that satisfies the design requirements for solution mixtures. It should be noted that the effective dosage of the additive depends on the type of mixing equipment used. In most cases (when working on a medium-aluminate cement - C 3 A = 6-8, sand with a content of silt and clay less than 3%, with a modulus of 1-2, using forced effective mixing), the dosage of the additive to obtain highly mobile solution mixtures (PKZ- Pk4) with a volume of entrained air of more than 10% is 0.3-0.9% of the final release form of the additive in relation to the mass of binders. It is recommended to dispense with an error of not more than ± 2%.

Physicochemical Properties

In liquid form, the additive is supplied in bulk in auto- and railway tanks, as well as in

plastic containers of different capacities. CRATAMIX is non-toxic and

non-flammable product.

The additive is transported by any mode of transport, in accordance with the current

Store at + 5 ÷ + 35 ° C in a sealed container. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight. If the recommended storage conditions are violated, the physical, chemical and consumer properties of the product may change. Observance of the recommended conditions allows storing the additive within 12 months from the date of manufacture. In the case of the freezing of the aqueous solution of the additive after thawing and homogenization, KRATAMIX can be used in accordance with the recommendations.

It is recommended to use protective gloves when working with the additive. If the product gets on your skin, wash it off with soap and water. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and consult a doctor if necessary. Dispose of the additive according to local regulations, do not pour into the soil, water, sewerage.
